Going to the Doctor Atomic HD broadcast tomorrow with newbie opera listener Vinay. Hope he likes his 3 hour and 21 minute intro to opera!

So what's the verdict? Did newbie enjoy the show? Your thoughts on the opera?
It was pretty cool in Vancouver, BC, although (as you would expect) the time difference has it starting at 10:00 AM in the morning. How well did it go over in Indianapolis?
was it really that long? it went by so fast.
bawling at the end i was. superb.
As far as quality was concerned, the cast was awesome, there was only one small blip in the middle of the bhagavaghita chorus but it was smooth after that (came right before the top of one of the climaxes, was terrible shock to suddenly hear nothing after the build-up)! Audience was strangely quiet throughout the whole thing. There were only ten people or so there. :(
Going to have to really write a thorough review huh? Gotta due it some justice!
I should clarify: i was talking about the quality of the satellite connection, not the singing of the chorus.
